How to Limit the Number of Spots Each Participant Can Sign Up For
Prevent Over-Commitment with Per-SignUp, Per-Day, or Per-Week Limits
Last Updated June 17, 2026
Spot limiting is a Premium feature that lets you cap how many spots any single participant can claim. This is useful when you want to spread opportunities evenly across your group or prevent one person from taking more than their share.
How to Enable Spot Limits
- Log in and click your SignUp title from the Dashboard.
- Go to the Details tab.
- Scroll to Limiting Spots and enter your limit.
- Click the blue Update button to save.
Time Frame Options
- Per SignUp: Caps the total number of spots one participant can hold across the entire SignUp.
- Per Day: Limits spots per calendar day.
- Per Week: Limits spots within a Sunday to Saturday week window.
Limits apply per unique email address. If you allow participants to sign up family members or group members without separate emails, those registrations count together toward the email address holder's total.
